Diamond Fleetwood couple celebrating 60th wedding anniversary Dennis Andy (81) and Monica Mary (80) Armitage, will mark the special occasion with a card from the Queen on Thursday, June 4th 2020. Dennis born in Fleetwood and Monica from Prescot met while hiking in the lake district at the Britannia Inn in Elterwater, Cumbria in 1956. They married at St Paul’s Free Church in Fleetwood on June 4th, 1960. Dennis dedicated 24 years to the Army, 21 years in the civil Service. And they owned a Guesthouse in South Shore Blackpool for 6 years. They were blessed to have four daughters, Mandy Penny, Denise Ann and Lisa. They also have 4 son-in-laws, 6 grandsons, a granddaughter, a grandson in law and a great grandson. All of the family would like everyone to congratulate them on this momentous milestone 60th Diamond Anniversary.
